The Culture and Christmas Market in front of Schonbrunn Palace is held on the cour d' honneur of this former Habsburg summer residence. The romantic market stocks a rich selection of traditional handicrafts, handmade jewellery and rustic decorations for the Christmas tree.

WINTER TALES AT KUNST HISTORISHES MUSEUM

The exhibition shows winter as a surprisingly colorful and versatile season with winter motifs from great masters such as Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Francisco de Goya, William Turner and Caspar David Friedrich, famous French impressionists such as Claude Monet, Alfred Sisley and Camille Pissarro through to contemporary artwork from Anselm Kiefer and Joseph Beuys.
