DAY 1 BELGRADE AIRPORT – BELGRADE
Arrival at Belgrade Airport, transfer to Belgrade city centre and overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 2 BELGRADE – VIMINACIUM - KLADOVO
In the morning, we start our tour heading toward Eastern Serbia. On the way to Kladovo we will stop to Viminacium, the archeological site. This archeological site was one of the most important Roman cities and Military camps in the period from 1st to 4th century. We’ll have a chance to find out everything that you didn’t know about ancient history. We will have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon we continue to Kladovo. During our way to Kladovo we will pass by Đerdap National Park, following the Danube River. Overnight in Kladovo.
DAY 3 KLADOVO – FELIX ROMULIJANA – VRNJAČKA BANJA SPA
Early in the morning we will start our short boat ride through Danube river and see its most interesting sights and nature. Afterwards we continue to Felix Romulijana, very important archaeological site and one of the most important late Roman sites in Europe. Felix Romulijana is under protection of The UNESCO World Heritage and a real pearl of the Serbian culture and it is one of the symbols of Serbian culture. We will have lunch in a local restaurant and in the afternon we continue to Vrnjačka Banja Spa for an overnight. Overnight in Vrnjacka Banja Spa.
DAY 4 VRNJAČKA BANJA SPA – ŽIČA MONASTERY – MOKRA GORA
Vrnjacka Banja Spa is a town and a resort which contains the hot springs with a temperature measuring exactly that of the human body (36.5 degrees Celsius). It is popular place to relax,enjoy and improve your health. In the morning we go to visit Žiča Monastery, the memorial of the first Serbian King. Žiča Monastery was, by tradition, royal church of Serbian kings. It was believed that even a king could be crowned in any Serbian church he was never considered true king until he was crowned in Žiča. After visiting Žiča Monastery, we continue to Mokra Gora on Zlatibor Mountain for visit of Drvengrad. It is a traditional village built by Serbian film director Emir Kusturica. Overnight in Zlatibor.
DAY 5 ZLATIBOR – VIŠEGRAD - SARAJEVO
In the morning we take the exciting train ride on Šargan 8 Railway. After lunch we continue to Bosnia & Herzegovina and Višegrad, the city with the most beautiful bridge – Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge. The bridge is one of the most important national monuments in the Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was in July 2007 listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list. In the afternoon drive towards Sarajevo, free time & overnight.
DAY 6 SARAJEVO - MOSTAR
After breakfast in hotel, we will take a stroll and visit Sarajevo. Sarajevo is located in the Sarajevo valley of Bosnia, surrounded by the Dinaric Alps and situated around the Miljacka river. We will see famous Baščaršija, the coblet old town market where we will have a chance to taste traditional coffee, buy interesting souvenirs…In the afternoon we’ll enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, tasting national food and in the afternoon, we have transfer to Mostar for an overnight. Overnight in Mostar.
DAY 7 MOSTAR – KOTOR - BUDVA
In the morning, after breakfast we go to visit Mostar. Mostar is the most famous because of the beautiful historic Ottoman-style bridge, which spanned the Neretva river in what is considered the historic center of the city. The bridge is listed on UNESCO World Heritage. We will have lunch in a local restaurant,enjoying the authentic Bosnian atmosphere and after lunch we’ll proceeed to Mediterranean coast. Kotor is situated in the Boka Kotorska Bay and represents a true pearlo of Montenegro sights. It is under the protection of the UNESCO World Heritage. Overnight in Budva.
DAY 8 BUDVA – CETINJE – ŽABLJAK/ KOLAŠIN
Cetinje is located at the foot of Lovćen mountain, close enough and open for all friendly hands is the city museum, old capital of Montenegro for centuries, and origin point of Montenegrin spirituality and statehood. Preserved peculiarities of its authentic architecture which every stone has been transformed as an historical act and legend makes this small town beneath Lovćen looks as great and remarkable. Visit Njegoš’s Museum, The Museum of King Nikola, Lovćen national Park and many other sights that makes Cetinje special place for visit. In the afternoon, after lunch in a local restaurant, we will continue to Žabljak. On the way to Žabljak we will stop to see the natural beauty of Tara River and its symbol – Đurđevića Tara bridge – a unique architectural marvel on the Tara River. Overnight in Žabljak.
DAY 9 ŽABLJAK – NATIONAL PARK DURMITOR – NOVI PAZAR
In the morning we will stop in National Park Durmitor to take a short walk. The Durmitor National Park was created in 1952, includes the massif of Durmitor, the canyons of Tara, Sušica and Draga rivers. Because of its beauty, it was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1980. After enjoying in nature on Durmitor Mountain, we continue to Novi Pazar. On the way to Novi Pazar we will get to visit Sopoćani Monastery and have a photo stop in front of the Stari Ras which was one of the first capitals of the medieval Serbian state of Raška. Because of its great importance it is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Overnight in Novi Pazar.
DAY 10 NOVI PAZAR – STUDENICA MONASTERY – BELGRADE
After breakfast in hotel, we continue to Studenica Monastery, situated 65 km from Novi Pazar. It is the endowment of Grand Prince Stefan Nemanja, and represents a spiritual and artistic centre of the Serbian people. It is the largest and the richest Serbian Monastery. Because of its great importance, it is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. After lunch at the monastery drive towards Belgrade. Overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 11 BELGRADE
In the morning we will have Belgrade sightseeing. Belgrade is a city that welcomes everybody. A city that nobody leaves indifferent. Situated in Southern Europe, at the confluence of the rivers Sava and Danube, between the Pannonian Plain to the north and the hilly central region of Serbia known as Šumadija to the south. We will meet Belgrade Fortress, Kalemegdan Park, Knez Mihailova St., St. Sava Temple and Scadarlija-Bohemian Quarter. We will have lunch in one of Belgrade restaurants and enjoy in popular Belgrade atmosphere. Overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 12 BELGRADE DEPARTURE
Transfer indirection of Belgrade Airport, for return flight back home.
